This kind of stuff drives me crazy. People will use it to justify why they don’t like someone, but if someone they do like does it they excuse it. I don’t care if someone signs a million autographs or none, I just want to watch entertaining golf. Hopefully Tiger can get in contention, because it’s more entertaining then.

Honestly, I’m not an Eldrick fan, but the autograph nonsense pisses me off. Who are these losers that harass players for autographs? Just watch and enjoy the golf. Look, my four favorite golfers of all time are aholes.
They’re still my favorite golfers. I don’t need to be friends with them.

For the record, these are my favorite 4 golfers.

1. John Daly
2. Fred Couples
3. Lee Trevino
4. Jack Nicklaus

That's hilarious. He doesn't just walk past them, he walks right through them. He even moved one of them.

A few things.

1) It's before a round, not during
2) They were kids
3) There were only a handful of them

It would have taken him 20 seconds to scribble quick initials 10 times.

Raphael Nadal signed autographs for 2 mins on the court less than five minutes after losing an exhausting Wimbeldon final.

I do agree that he is great to watch and makes things much more interesting when he's in contention.

But he's still a POS.

Read his biography that came out this year. It's a good book, but it will give you a better appreciation for just how big of an ******* he is. He was conditioned to be that way.

It's called promoting the game. If you can't take a few minutes to interact with a few kids, then you are a POS. Tiger has no job without the fans.

Damn, man, you calling a few kids losers? Seriously? I have been to many pro events, 2 mens US opens, Womens US open, Masters, Tour Championship and never asked for an autograph, because I feel that is for the kids. And if pro can't take a few minutes for the kids to help promote the game, then that Pro is POS.

I would hazard a guess that most PGA players would act in a similar fashion before the beginning of their round. There's a reason why most PGA tournament sites are set up with a walking bridge between the putting green and 1st tee ---> to avoid fans interrupting the player's pre-round routine.

But I guess everybody needs to be outraged about something these days...

He’s not a POS. He works hard and is very successful. He may be an a-hole, those 2 are very different. Use your words right. You call someone a POS you’re saying something very different than calling them an a-hole.

Go to Urban Dictionary if you need help.

Also check out the Tiger Woods foundation to see what he does for kids. Better than a crappy autograph imo. But whatever if you hate him you hate him.

Thanks for the lesson on semantics. I use those words interchangeably regardless of what some website says.

We'll have to agree to disagree on Tiger.

No outrage here. I'm just tired of the excuses for Tiger when he's a known jerk. I'm not just talking about on the course or before rounds.

Dude's been an *** to even his best friends his entire life. Read the book I mentioned. The sad part is that it's at least partly not his fault he's like that.

Tiger is a product of his father who was a slime ball in his own right. His father had a dramatic impact on his life so the way he has lived it is not shocking. That said, for all the great things he has done for the game of golf he has done many great things off the course as well. Karma came back and bit him extremely hard. He has been paying the piper for a good bit of time now and will likely die regretting a lot of the things he has done.

That all said, I really could care less what he does. I have and will always continue to appreciate the things he can do on a golf course and realize the impact he has had on the game that I love so much. If he is a bad guy then that is his problem.

So, did Tiger hit a kid with an RKO out of nowhere then piss on the corpse? My guess is if their moms has been 8s or better he would have been pleasant, 9s and he would have given them keys to his condo.

Sergio has missed the cut at all 3 majors this year. He finally got his 1 major at Augusta last year, but he has sucked *** since then.

He’s not a POS
He is an Ahole then the way he treats the fans. He is a POS for the way he treated his wife and children. Yes he is one of the greats of the game, and really brought fans to the game. But my opinion of him remains the same. We will just disagree.

He might do a lot with kids recently, but historically, he has ignored everyone while he's on the course. Other players don't do that. Arnold Palmer never did that, major or no.

I am completely convinced that the "new and improved, kinder, gentler Tiger" is nothing but a PR stunt to repair his tarnished image.

People who cheat on their wive’s are POS? Can I get that on record before going to the political thread to see what your opinions are there?

Should be a great day today. The morning groups will get a softer course and have a chance to go low before the course gets tamped down and heated up in the afternoon. If no one goes low late the field could be really bunched up for Sunday when the wind gets up to 15-20 mph.

I was being sarcastic. PGA guys have the best job in the world. If they can’t take the time to sign autographs for kids, then they’re just not good people. I was also joking about my four favorite golfers being aholes. Those four guys are about as good as it gets. I didn’t realize my posts came off so seriously until I read them this morning. I was trying to be funny, but it didn’t come off very well. (Perhaps a little too much bourbon last night)

Low scores all around. Have to think yesterday's leaders continue the trend. Wife in awe/aghast at Fleetwood's hair. I wish she'd go do something else.
