Absolutely. He was healthy and playing well to close out the season. There is no better time for him to give it a shot.Very wise decision by Shamari. Running backs have a limited timeline due to health concerns due to the position. I’m know we all wish him well.
Hopefully he gets invited to a camp to show what he can do.No chance at the NFL
He might get a shot at the CFL but I doubt it.
Loved his fight and toughness and wish him the best. But D1 was his ceiling.
Let’s not trash our former players please. Brooks was a great running back for us and let’s acknowledge and praise him for that. He stayed loyal the whole way and isn’t transferring. No chance at the NFL

Not trashing him, just being realistic.Let’s not trash our former players please. Brooks was a great running back for us and let’s acknowledge and praise him for that. He stayed loyal the whole way and isn’t transferring.
AMEN!!!Dude was a warrior. Played hard every down. Really appreciate all the hard work he put in to rehab and get back on the field. He will be successful in whatever he chooses to do.
And, again, I hope he gets a camp invitation or at least a tryout. Then he can put it all out there and let the chips fall where they fall.AMEN!!!
Man.. people bagging on Brooks need to look at Cole Beasley
He’s still a peckerhead.Lol I remember getting so mad when he would tear us up because I thought he was garbage. Shows how much I know
