It’s a whole lot of chirping that your network is trying to hire Finebaum away from ESPN...

Makes little sense to me. He bleeds SEC. Not sure how that translates up north unless the B1G is going to 16 with 2 southern team and even then I don’t think it works.

Yea but they are offering his own show about college football as a whole. He doesn’t just want to be a “SEC” guy. ESPN is trying to keep him in that box but them BTN guys are offering the world.

If FS1 wants to add another layer of credibility and viewers, this makes sense....he has a regional following and FS1 needs to complete the sports cycle of talking heads for NFL, NBA and then CFB and CBB....Since they are already invested in MLB this makes sense.

ESPN can sustain a loss of Finebaum, he should be on ESPN and SEC Network during the day or late afternoon talking College Football, recruiting and bringing the fans out of the SEC to watch other football beyond that region.

PAWL has been based out of Charlotte since the creation of the SEC network.

That idiotic Alabama fan who poisoned those trees in Auburn after Cam Newton in the Tigers beat Alabama called Finebaum show to announce what he did.

Finebaum is an amazing interviewer but the SEC, and in particular SEC football, is his wheelhouse. I've seen him try to talk college basketball but it's not as natural to him as football is.

@dontestrond What will my girl Phyllis in Mulga do if Paul leaves the SEC Network? "The dynasty is not over!"

God Bless that woman.
