Did you happen to see the parade of vehicles flying the confederate flag after Nascar's decision? Did you see the airplane banner with the confederate flag and "Save Nascar" as the wording?

It happened in a closed well regulated location where everyone in attendance is licensed to be there.
There is nobody inside the track who isnt a licensed member of Nascar and who doesnt have an ID with a photo. The garage area is monitored for good reasons. It wont be hard to find out who did it or what happened.

This team member went directly to NASCAR, didn't tell someone with the team first.

There us always someone in the garage during the race and during the whole weekend. There are literally hundreds of thousands of dollars in tools, parts and equipment in the garage and hauler. There are cams everywhere for security. Teams run their own cams so they can monitor who does what to cars.

Yeah, as soon as it became publicized that he didn't even see it, nor can he get back there right now (covid), it was pretty evident he didn't do it, and was much more clear it wasn't a noose.
