What the?? Not the result I was anticipating, but hot dang, WTG Mr. Buchanan!!! What an awesome win AND what an excellent showing by the HWC guys!! Congrats gents!!
Would love to see Buchanan/Snyder. Heck of a tournament for the young man.

Really depends on Sadulaev, and Snyder is the favorite to make the world team until someone beats him. Hasn’t been done in the US for over a decade.
Definitely would still be a favorite over Buchanan, but has not been unbeatable like he was in the 2023-2024.
We will get to see Snyder-Taz next month at RAF07 they announced today. Cassioppi gave Taz a good match before putting himself in a spot to get pinned a couple months ago. Buchanan has his own challenge at RAF06 in a couple weeks against the guy Taz beat for 2024 gold. Don't know if it's helpful or not for these guys to become more familair "hands on" with each other before the big tournaments, but it sure makes the sport much more interesting to follow.
Who is training them because we know Tom & Terry aren't capable according to what I have been reading here.
