What an absolute genius of a coach we have on our hands, folks. No, he's not going to win every game, but the guy is really deep into figuring out how to win every game. I stopped the video so that my husband could hear what CMP had to say about unselfishness.
Hubby needed to hear what was said?
In all seriousness, beyond the Xs and Os and everything, I love his attitude as much as anything. I especially love how he frames everything in a positive way and not in a negative way. He is so focused on the positive and that's a great thing! You know that mindset rubs off on the players and makes them more likely to perform at their best.
We have a coach that says he wants to get better and the staff to be better. I don’t think I ever heard Cal ever say that. If he did it’s been a long time ago.
I'm an edumacated man...lol. Degrees, Summa *** Laude...almost 61 now running two businesses. Mark Pope is one of those guys (in a good way) that within 30 minutes of listening, he clearly is the smartest person in the room by far. And as smart as he is, he seems to be a better person!
