When doing new construction with wood flooring in the kitchen is it most typical to put the floors in first and the cabinets on top or do most put in the cabinets directly on the slab and install the wood floors abutting the cabinets?

The latter or the former. You know what I meant.

If it's a nail down or glue down that needs to be stained, install it first. Pre stained laminate goes in after.

A nail down floor ( 3/4" plywood with 3/4" hardwood) would screw up base boards and cabinet heights if it goes down after trim.

Thanks. Exactly what I needed and what I thought.
