Coach Pop #1...After that it's Thibs, Doc, Rick Carlisle, and.....that's really about it. Thibs wins with whoever he has. You give him 5 Will Purdue's and he'll make 1 of them an all-star and a playoff team.Originally posted by WIU78:
Title contender every year? Thibs as second best coach in the NBA? Who would be your #1? Just curious Wild....I like Coach T but I would not place a crown on his head just yet...nor has the NBA.
"Severely outcoached by Spoelstra"??????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Haha, how? Because he put LeBron in and said "Hey, do your thing". C'mon, Spoelstra is a puppet just OKC's coach Rich Brooks. When did the Bulls have a better team than the Heat? The Heat had the #1 player of the 21st century, the #3 shooting guard of all-time, Dwayne Wayde (Behind MJ & Kobe) and a possible (not sure) hall of famer in Chris Bosh. Oh, yeah and they had a hall of famer named Ray Allen.Originally posted by Cross Bones:
Done with Tibs because he got severely outcoached by Spoelstra when we had a better team than the Heats. He also is terrible with rotations and is responsible for Having Rose out there in a blowout when he got injured the 1st time and he continues to do it.
Finally im done with GarPax bc they really put together a miserable team this year destroying our defense and giving us marginal offensive firepower.
Yes, severely outcoached by Spoelstra when Tibs didnt recognize that the strength of his team was its defense and that defense was played by his 2nd unit with Deng and then some Rose. Instead we got long spells of Snoozer and Korver (even though they were both ineffective) and playing Rose whole 2nd halves of games almost in attempts to outscore them when the way to beat the Heats as demonstrated throughout the season was to keep the score low and close, and pull it out in the end. Tibs failed miserably.Originally posted by Wild_Mustang:

"They put together a miserable team this year"????????????!!!!!!!!! Dude, they are the 3 seed right now and will probably be the 2 seed once the playoffs start. They took a little away from their defense to add to their offense b/c in years past everyone was saying "we have no offense, we can play defense, but can't score".
Whatever your smoking, please, let me have some. Sounds like some amazing stuff.

Lol, I'm sorry bud but we just disagree on this one.Yes, severely outcoached by Spoelstra when Tibs didnt recognize that the strength of his team was its defense and that defense was played by his 2nd unit with Deng and then some Rose. Yes, this year's team is the worst since Tibs has been here (considering injuries). They have no defense after getting rid of the defensive players, and they picked up Pau who I like, but offensively who is really a threat? Who did they pick up? Dunleavy? No one is gameplanning for him... Then at the trade deadline, another silent night while everyone else is making moves to get better.
Now Rose is out again.... couldnt have seen that coming. We have..............Aaron Brooks. I'm done, send these bums to St. Louis or something.
I think he was going to get hurt regardless. It sucks, but he's fragile and has been playing fragile all season. I'm not mad at him for getting hurt, I was mad at him all year for playing soft and not playing to his potential. You could tell he was half-assing it, especially on defense.Originally posted by WIU78:
Makes one wonder if playing in garbage time had an impact? WildMustang...you never know those extra minutes up 18 with 5:00 to go and finally getting him off the court at 1:35? Thibs gets the most out of his horses so to speak. Hitch up another one and start pulling again...and that may be a problem getting super stars to play for him, which is obviously what you want for them to win it all.
I would have preferred a true, proven scorer if we were going to go away from defense. I would take anyone on that list of players especially Cousins. There also was a time when the Grizz were trying to get rid of Zach Randolph, Bulls did nothing. When Kobe was in his prime he wanted to come to Chicago... we got nothing. We never make moves at the deadline... and we never win 'ships.Originally posted by Wild_Mustang:

Don't tell me you wanted them to get Melo in the off-season. That guy, smh, biggest thief. Him, Josh Smith, JR Smith, Demarcus Cousins and....I'm forgetting one more, this is the all-bum team.
Not sure who they could have gotten at the trade deadline.
Yea, I agree with you on some of those. They don't pull the trigger but hey it could be worse, we could be the 76ers. I mean, what in God's name are they doing?I would have preferred a true, proven scorer if we were going to go away from defense. I would take anyone on that list of players especially Cousins. Done with Tibs and GarPax they can go to the Lakers together next season
Thank you, I'm not alone here. Too many people listening to Chicago Sports Media BSOriginally posted by corey90:
How many teams would want Tiebs? I am betting
a lot! The Bulls would be crazy to let him go. Just
who they going to get better? I can't believe were
even suggesting a change.
Crazy.
