A few more stats along with my favorite cited by Jedwar above about Indiana only getting beyond the Elite Eight once since 1993:
* Indiana has assured it will NOT have a winning B10 record for SIXTH straight year.
* Indiana may need to win B10 Tourney to get a bid or win at Purdue Saturday. Indiana has NEVER won the B10 Tourney.
* If Indiana misses the NCAA tournament this year it'll be the TENTH year without an NCAA appearance in 14 seasons.
* Indiana has been to the NCAA tournament four times since 2008. Kentucky has been to the Final Four 4 times since 2011.
And finally, this one which puts a lie to the idea that Indiana was Elite on Kentucky's level until this recent three-decade dry spell: In program history, Indiana has gone to the NCAA tournament 39 times. Kentucky has gone to the Elite Eight or better 38 times.

Rutgers beating them in ***. Hall is enjoyably devastating and crushing to their bubble hopes. The home loss to Rutgers was a Quad THREE loss for them... ahhh ... hahahahaha !!! LOL !!

MY GOODNESS. The horror for Hoosiers ! That ... just cannot be, can it?
I would also add, that 39 elite eight appearances is just an incredible stat. UNC has 28 next most, Kansas 24, Duke & UCLA 22. Indiana is not even close to the top 10 with only 11.

Last night my wife and I were watching something on tv when I checked scores, saw where IU had lost their lead and it was going down to the wire. We switched to the game and saw that last-second gut-busting 3 go in for Rutgers and we both jumped, yelled and hi-fived as if it was a UK game. Funny as hell!

Indiana Basketball has evolved into a complete joke and as someone who spent a lot of time in Southern Indiana in the 80s and 90s I just have to say I love it.
