See what happens when a program that hasn't been relevant since 1987 wins a few games to start the year LOL. Come back at the end of the year after have missed the NCAA tournament for the what seventh year out of the last eight or nine and you have lost in the first round of the NIT to boot LMAO
Fantastic post. I wholeheartedly agree!

Lmao UK fans are the best. For all the bragging about how great your recruiting classes are year after year, seems like you always fall short of your expectations. So I just pop some popcorn and sit back and watch. The entertainment value is great. Thank you BBN!
I'm sure you were entertained this weekend. A bottom-half SEC team smokes IUse2bee at home while Kentucky beats the #3 team in the country.

By the way, do you put that popcorn in one of those commemorative "WARFORD AT THE BUZZER" boxes Indiana had made to celebrate a December home win -- the biggest triumph for your sad sack program since Reagan was in office? Now that's LMAO worthy.

And yes, when Kentucky makes the Elite Eight that falls a bit short of expectations. When Indiana makes the NIT you have exceeded expectations. That's the difference in being Elite and being a Laughingstock.

I feel the same way about watching IU in conference road games.

Us Cat fans ***** about our seeding and draw on Selection Sunday. You watch the NIT selection at 8 pm on ESPNU.

Yes, you beat Cal’s second worst team in the 2016 Round of 32. How’d your next game go?

How’d the last 3 seasons go?

Our programs were equals in the 80s. You fell off a cliff. We maintained elite status. That’s the difference.

I would run intellectual circles around you all day.
Also, saying that the last time we were in the tournament we kicked Kentucky's azz is not talking trash. It's simply statement of a fact.
Amazingly as bad as Indiana's program has been, they somehow managed to win two of the three matchups since Calipari has been at UK.

Correction. You’ve won 2 of the last 3. Your record against Kentucky in the Cal era is 2-3.

1. 2010 - L in Bloomington
2. 2011 - L in Lexington
3. 2012 - W in Bloomington
4. 2012 - L in Sweet 16
5. 2016 - W in Round of 32

Surprised a “Whoosier” fan has the cajones to show his face around here. Tired of the depress fest on Peegs? No 2-star recruits you guys can be talking about over there?

At least I give Duke credit and the respect of being a blue blood. IU lost that status years ago. Now relegated to 2nd or 3rd best in your own state. Maybe Alford will come and make you a little less irrelevant. Doubt it.
2nd or 3rd? There is Butler, Purdue, Notre dame, that puts them at #4 and some would argue Ft Wayne

That is a valid point. I stand corrected. They are hoping lil Archie can get them up to 3rd best in the state within the next 10 years. Goals. Gotta have em.

Come on man, admit it, you would give your left nut for Indiana to have had this success Kentucky has had since 1987. Oh, I’m sorry, really sorry, I forgot you don’t have nuts you’re an Indiana fan.

They want to play us in their home craphole, but instead they played another SEC school, Arkansas there on Sunday, and the Razorbacks won 71-64!

Yep, it’s been 25 years since IU was blue blood.

Lol. Bad coach that had a couple good years replaced with a “good” coach that has only had bad years.

If he has had nothing but bad years since he has been there, and he cannot recruit some talent to come play for him, can you still call him a good coach?

Special Football Bump: bwahahahaha.

What a collapse. Indiana maintains its longest streak without a bowl win among all BCS teams - 29 years! And what a loss. Total choke.

Imagine being a fan of the only two sports that matter at Indiana - a combined SIXTY TWO years without a bowl win or a conference tourney or NCAA title.
If you rooted for UT over IU in that game, you’re an *******. Straight up.

Right there with you, MdWildcat55. Those eastern and southern Kaintuckians hate UT 'cause they are close to the border with Tenn. But those of us "Ohio River" UK fans have to deal more with IU fans and understand the extent of their idiocy, delusion, and complete and utter hatred and disdain for us.

I bump IU suckage, for decades, for both basketball AND football!

Archie will get it turned around, he just needs to clap more and the fans have to give him total support. He’s got a total rebuild still to do.

You know who they should have hired as a head coach? Brad Stevens, that's who. He used to coach at Butler. They like to keep their recruiting instate, can't understand why they didn't pick him up. smh

He is the Boston Celtic's head coach and has no interest in lowering himself to take the IU job.
