Indiana is back..........as in back to .500 in league play.
How is it possible that Indiana can both suck AND blow AT THE SAME TIME ?!?!?!?!???

Prediction: IU will suck forever. They’ll never hire anybody with balls because of the Sampson incident. 
I was trying to get a world rafters RECORD of quoting myself an entire three times within the past 30 minutes, so I'm not sure If I will qualify for that immensely stupifyingly incredibly solemn honor or not.... but here goes ......

Irony-a thread that gets bumped when IU sucks. Yet “hilarious” when someone uses the same thread to point out they won.
It’s college basketball. Watching a game at Rupp is like watching a golf tournament Look….I know IU is a joke, but giving Cal a lifetime contract because he won one National Championship is kinda a joke too.
IU rushed their home court against Purdue.
Thought this was college basketball? Why is this a big deal? It‘s about having fun and celebrating when you’re in your 20’s.
It’s respectable when it’s actually a great once in a lifetime win, you beat #4 ranked Purdue! They already had 2 loses, never won a title Purdue! I know that IU has forgotten what being a blue blood is about but this is example 1 of why they aren’t one anymore. This is why this thread will be 1000 pages. Because they suck, and even in winning they suck. So we revive it and then people like you revive it like this!
And in the land of the candystriped androgynously challenged college basketball fans that time forgot (1987) that is Indiana Basketball, the ghost of Branch McCracken rears its' solemn head (remember : Bobby Knight wants to be buried upside down so that his critics can kiss his ***, not so he can solemnly rise his head for a IU victory).

I beg to differ……UK has a great fan base. Some fans are very knowledgeable and call it like it is. The current fans that bump this thread are two types. They’re either ticked off that IU beat them in Bloomington and caused a huge embarrassment, and they can’t cope with it. Or, they’re in their 20’s and have never experienced a program on the rebuild. The latter fan base never experienced the Eddie Sutton era. They’ve probably have no clue Eddie Sutton was even a coach at UK. All they know Cal is great and IU sucks. So they bump the thread. But what goes up, also goes down…..
Seriously? That was one game to us, it’s not like we made cereal boxes over a regular season game. We have had much more exciting wins and losses than that. You guys still sit around the radio listening to game talking the good ole day. Anyone that was upset momentarily over the white trash fans quickly forgot when we beat a mud hole into your team and score more on IU than any team in history in the tournament just a little bit later. IU is like a creepy ex that keeps popping up hoping there’s still something there. When you can win out in your own state then maybe, probably not, but maybe.

No, it's lost it's meaning. It used to only be when #1 got beat, or maybe 2, 3,4, and 5 at the lowest. And it's freaking Indiana. I know **** ain't been right for decades but you still have a rich basketball history. Like top 5 worthy. By excusing this, you're excusing mediocrity. Which is fine by us.
Nobody here cares about that game, we played horrible and got a crap whistle and still should have won. We brushed it off 10 minutes later because we knew we were the real deal, then we went on to. It only beat IU in the tournament but win a ship.
Interesting………..So you’re saying no cares about that game? Yet you just gave a detailed excuse why UK lost that game. Okay, I’ll just let that pass. Perhaps this thread gets bumped because some fans can’t cope with the fact that the last time UK and IU played was in the NCAA Tournament on a neutral court and IU won? But no worries…..I’m sure this thread will get bumped again if IU loses to Michigan on Sunday. Which will be kinda funny considering the outcome of the Auburn game. Seems like IU is renting a lot space in your head. After all…….The Hoosiers are irrelevant. Right?
IU still sucks dude. Today’s game has no relevance. I promise, most college basketball folks don’t even care that they play. Go back and crawl into your hole and enjoy all IU’s great successes. By the way, I hope you all win. It gives you hope and you all need it. We can sit back and laugh at you while you enjoy time at the table when you know it’s the scraps you will be eating at the end.
Two sides to the coin my friend…..Everyone outside of Kentucky snickers at UK. Every year you guys have the top recruiting class in the country and you’re ranked in the top 5. Yet by February you’re either out of the top 25 or barely hanging on. Plus you gave your coach a lifetime contract to continue this insanity. The only thing is no one started a “bump this thread when UK SUCKS.”
Prior to the Covid year UK had finished the season in the Top 10 five out of six years. Out of the top 25. Lol. Go back to 1987 and your Chuck Taylors .
