When NU got to Hinkle, do you think Coach Collins told Dererk to put Isiah on his shoulders and measure the rims?

Butler may not be BUTLER this year, but this is a big test for the Cats -- especially on the road, two days after their last game. One interesting thing to watch tonight will be Butler's dribble penetration. Collins called that a weakness that EWU was able to expose on Monday night.

I love seeing NU's aggression early. They are getting to the rim with the dribble-drive.

Offense has gone into a shell. This happened at times in the EWU game too. BMac really can't leave the floor, can he?

Sloppy with the ball for stretches, and Benson needs some work. Everything else is a positive. Got some scoring from a lot of sources. Pardon appears to have developed really well. Law's hitting shots. Brown's freshman ebullience results in some bad plays but also some very good ones; he'll be a four-year contributor. Defense was mostly very solid, but need to clean the glass a bit better in the second half to bring this baby home.

I'm happy to have a lead at half, especially because they're the ones who have benefited so far from extra possessions. Patch that up, and we can win.

Well... it ain't pretty, but we're in the lead. Law has hit some big shots. We actually should have a bigger lead because Butler can't hit a shot, but we are getting outrebounded on both ends. Will be a dog/catfight in the second half. Go Cats!

Cats up by 3 at the half. Impressed by Law, though he picked up a cheap foul at the end there. Brown looks so good for a freshman. Let's hope we can box out a bit more in the 2nd half. Looking good!

Also, who is calling the game? I had to mute the TV. Awful commentary.
