IDK. Tough to win on the road without your best player.

Oh yeah definitely. It's not going to be easy at all. I'm not sure it would have been all that easy even with Oweh. But we do have a deep team here and maybe some guys can step it up.

......and this is IF he's out. There's really been no credible source yet saying he is.

But if he is it sucks that it's for this game but honestly better for all this to happen on 11/11 than 3/11 IMO

I doubt the line moving is anything more than confident, desperate, Louisville fans betting it up. Hard to believe there'd be no leak about an OO injury.

And who knows? Anything can happen in a rivalry game.

What I DO know: The last time Louisville would have covered a 6.5 point line against Kentucky was more than 20 years ago...22 to be exact: 2003. So, history is on the side of anyone taking the Cats and getting 6.5...

Yeah....I mean there could be a blowout either way but odds are this is going to be a very close game within a couple possessions or so.

Given where the teams are ranked ......... 6.5 is kinda wild.

I personally think Oweh is playing bc his player props are still available.
I was coming here to post this.

Last night I was tryin to bet UCLA’s Dent but the bet wouldn’t go thru and didn’t know what was wrong and then I found out he was out but Oweh’s prop is letting me bet it.

Its going to be a tough game on the road either way, but without him, we are definitely up against it. I wouldn't count our kids out though

Not a peep on X/Twitter from anyone. Word would have been out by now if OO is out. Did KSR mention anything about it today? Just caught then end and Ryan chose him as player of the game when they made their predictions.

If theirs is no reliable source where the hell did this come from? So you said he didn’t practice but he did. Said he’s not playing today but I just seen him being interviewed about how bad he can’t wait to see Louisville.. are we just starting threads like this now?

if he ends up not playing then I apologize but if this is some made up thing for a joke you need your *** kicked lol
its not a joke at all I literally said it was a rumor and explained that I heard it from someone that does know stuff, and the picture of oweh being the only guy not wearing his warmups on the court is weird is it not? And I’ve never in my life seen a line move by 3 points in less than 12 hours without anyone being injured

I never claimed to be an insider or that I was 100% sure no need to act like I’m trolling

if it’s not true then yall can call me an a-hole and we’ll beat Louisville’s ***

I think you all are just overanalyzing the logic here. The reason the line is moving is highly likely based on the fact we have several players still working their way back from injuries, we are in our first rd game in a likely hostile environment, they are desperate and due for a win, and we are both very closely ranked in the polls. It's likely a close game where the home team has the advantage.

I would imagine we have at least the same roster tonight that we had Friday night, Noah could be back.

UK just released a video on IG of shoot around and OO is in there getting up shots
Just like I said, and even in the post about betting line moving, it’s not because of an injury or player it’s the money rolling in on Little Brother. It’s that simple. Not sure who OP is “source” is because they are definitely not in the know if they told him this and if they claimed OO didn’t practice yesterday.

All of that was true yesterday. Doesn’t explain a 3 point shift overnight which is HIGHLY unusual without an injury or coach being fired or something

Your thread title is also extremely misleading. You base your post off of something you heard from one person, and your own theories on why the line moved, and say "buzz around Lexington" as if everyone is talking about it? Come on man. That's not cool.

Yes this was an attention post, the “look at me” kind. Nothing to see here as we know it’s not factual. Probably saw it on Facebook 😂 Now let’s quit bickering and slaughter the Little Brother!

In order for the line to move 3+ points, half the dang team would have to be out tonight.
Does UofL even have enough fans to move a line that far, when we know plenty of UK fans are betting on UK?
I mean, UK is rated #1 on kp, so it's weird to me that it started where it did.

I just can't gamble on UK games. I feel like the house always wins, and if I tilt the money on UK's side then the house will ultimately come in and take a win from us - because MONEY.
To each his own, but I would rather UK fans NEVER bet on us. Let the money go on the other team.

UK may not win but I doubt it would be by more than 6.

3 point movements happen daily. Today’s games alone there are 10 games the line moved by 3pts or more. So it really isn’t rare. Especially early in the season when metrics are all over the place. The other top 25 matchup today Illinois vs TT also moved 3pts.

Right, but out of those other 10 games, how many of the underdogs would be favored on a neutral and how many are #1 on Kenpom (I know the answer to this one, there can only be 1, but it is a significant fact here)

I used to bet but I never bet on UK games. You just don't see clearly enough with blue tinted glasses.
Last time I bet on Kentucky was 2014 against Ole Miss. Line was -8.5 or around there and it looked like easy money. Only bet like $50 but after we covered (I think on late free throws), I was just so disappointed in myself because there was a moment where it looked like they weren’t gonna cover and it felt pretty bad to not be happy about a win.

It's been 3 months since oweh's turf toe, couldn't have been a grade 3 because it didn't require surgery. I'd be surprised if he's not 95% by now.

Even if it were true it's not like Kentucky ain't had key players out for injuries before, like practically all last year. We just can't have 3 or more and more than one at the same position.
