Dude can't finish a sentence without an uh or er. What a bunch of idiots we are to have not have seen this guy is a mental midget.

would oklahoma hire osu's gundy?
is that a possibility?
if bv doesn't work...seeing gundy knows the area, and the big 12 is kinda shakey as far as the future..
to me he seems like he would fit at oklahoma, and with the 0u brand, sec, he could probably have alot better chance at a NC

just thought right now oklahoma seems the best program and osu seems the best hc..
and the future for the big 12 might be rocky...
and I just asked cause folks said gundy's name for nebraska which did'nt seem realistic, but to oklahoma might be alot more. seeing it's the same state, recruiting grounds, etc. etc.

No disrespect but that is possibly the most ridiculous question and observation I have ever seen here. Gundy played at OSU and still holds QB records. There is ZERO chance OU would offer the job to Gundy and ZERO chance he would accept an offer from OU.

Lebby’s offensive offense and Roof’s demented defense? It is pretty damned disgraceful that K fuggin U can do better with their backup QB than OU can. Marinate on that for a while...
I've been coaching high school ball for over 20 years, and during that time I've called some pretty good games. I've sent BV my resume and said I'd come work for a fraction of the pay you are giving Lebby. Guarantee I would do better than what was done yesterday.
I just asked cause oklahoma had another gundy as wr coach and got fired over some pc stuff..
so a gundy isn't off limits to work for oklahoma...as far as I know..
but like I said bv maybe all you need and he just needs to get the ship squared away how he wants it.

That would never happen. As others have pointed out, there is a mutual hatred between Mike Gundy and OU. He bleeds OSU orange. Hell, he once went ballistic and fired a contractor who was working on his house while wearing an OU baseball tee-shirt. "How dare you come into my house and offend my wife!" Gundy exclaimed.
Mike’s always been a Cowboy fan, which was influenced my his mom. His dad was more open to OU. Actually, initially it was reported that he had committed to OU, but about two weeks later that changed and he became a firm O-State commitment. The rest is history.

Brent said when he was hired he needed 3 years to turn OU into a natty contender. He told Joe C and Joe H is takes 3 years. Turnipseed had a similar position when he said it takes 3 years to set a standard and a path. I am all for giving BV the 3 years he asked for. This team is defeated in their minds. BV needs a sport psychologist!!
It’s been a long time since Brent had to work with the players like he has at OU. Not sure he was expecting this. He should get the three years but his assistants should be on a short rope.
Brent is kicking the can down the road hoping it hits something. The way the defense is playing they cannot hit anything. Hope we don’t get embarrassed by KU on home turf. That would be disgraceful.
Quit trashing BV and the Staff and give them some time. They are literally using the leftovers from the LR regime that did not transfer along with using incoming transfers that if we are honest, are not typical OU players. Our QB situation is currently a mess (that will be fixed next year with Jackson Arnold coming in) as we are currently using a backup QB that transferred in from Pitt while Gabriel is out. Our defensive players are not BV recruits, except for the True Freshman that are playing. He needs a few years to recruit players that fit his schemes and system. I mean do you honestly think that if we still had Caleb Williams and Mario Williams on offense that it would be in such shambles. You guys can't see the forest for the trees at the moment. The program will get back to where it belongs. Have patience and stop with the knee jerk reactions.
BV defended it again today in his presser, but I think the practice contact has been over the top, and his team is worn down because of it. I think he'll get us there. But he needs to think about his depth situation. He is short of overall talent. We look outmanned.
