Was Starmount BWs first head job?

No he was at Franklinton before Starmount.

He started the football program at Southwestern Randolph when that school opened in 1970. Neither of the schools which consolidated into SWR had football so he had a tough start.

I think he had been an assistant at Randleman the year before.
