Gone, but not forgotten. What a true national treasure. Personally speaking, I'll miss him.

G'nite, sweet prince.

Stephen is just missing his boy Skip, he's like a guy whose partner left him and whoever comes after the old lover just isn't good enough. ESPN should reunite Skip and Stephen and just give them their own channel for all their 'smokin' hot takes' and the dopes who watch that crap can.

I didn’t read anything egregious or out of line there. Business is business. It is sort of surprising Smith has the clout he does though. Just goes to show you that controversy and strong opinions = ratings.

Stephen A. And skip Bayless deserve one another. Put them back on and continue to destroy yourselves espn.

Also just noticed maria Taylor's now on nbc sunday night football? So all the bs with her and rachel Nichols was meaningless lol.

There's just really no need for anything else on espn except games at this point. There's too many other options for fans to get info from like YouTube or podcasts and the things I care about most have already been specialized on its on channel from them...the SEC network

Remember when espn was original in a good way? Remember when it wasn't always about their opinion so much as their presentation and humor? They're a shadow of their former selves and going through a massive downhill slide after their midlife crisis that landed them with ABC/Disney.

Tbh I think Disney bought out their main competition to crush it, rather than make money off of it, and they're doing a great job of it. ABC is trash. They about killed Star Wars 3x over, and they're trying to change Marvel now as well.

No companies should have such a monopoly on "entertainment" as they have, but it has helped a lot of people realize they don't need it, so that is something good coming from it

Max is on the early morning show with Key and Jay anyway. ESPN knows he's a commodity and giving him an afternoon show anyway. SAS is a *****.

Never been a fan of his (sas). I do not know why he has any. I really don't.

Growing up I watched sportscenter every day before school. And so did all of my friends. Never missed it. Loved Baseball Tonight as well. I think as soon as highlights became easy to access instantly ESPN started a very quick decline in quality. Live games and 30 for 30 are the only things I watch really. I like PTI but I never watch it anymore

I've always wanted to ask someone, why they liked PTI... Is it because it's like a conversation/ argument a fan might have with someone or what?

I mainly like it because I think Tony Kornheiser is funny. But I just enjoy two people that respect each other having an argument that doesn't devolve into name calling and stuff. And I enjoy Wilbon getting angry. But it has been a long time since I've watched it.

That show was good only when Dan's dad was on. Dan libitard sucks
Even before he got TDS, I found his show completely annoying and literally couldn't listen longer than a minute or two. Like the most annoying morning zoo type radio show with a host with a terrible personality who isn't interesting.

Mystifying to me he has had an audience this long.

Pti was great. Around the horn (which was kellermans idea) was great, until the last few years.

Everything else on the channel is hot garbage and it's amazing they get anyone to watch any of it.

Also, if you really want to get mad.... just investigate exactly how much of your ever climbing cable bill is due to ESPN. Hint: it's a shocking amount

How has SAS conned his way into his salary? He’s obnoxious and not remotely knowledgeable about the plethora of topics ESPN has him discuss.

Never forget when he embarrassed himself a few years ago by rattling off names for the night’s football game where a guy was injured all season and another only had like two passes or something. Lol

Looks like Kellerman is getting his own show out of this deal. I have my doubts it will last very long. Stephen A carried this show. Kellerman was just a talking head to provide the opposite take. It was a gimmick that was decent at first (perhaps more so when Bayless was in that role) but it grew tiresome and uninteresting- and very predictable.

Stephen A. doesn’t “carry” anything. He pushes intelligent sports fans away and pulls in the lowest common denominator of sports fans. I cannot watch him, it’s horrible. PTI is what ESPN should be, intelligent people discussing relevant topics in a calm manner, providing insight that we don’t already have as fans.

If you are a fan of his you need to reevaluate yourself deep deep down.
