Always funny seeing the ones who chime in on threads about CC and WNBA to tell the world they don't care about CC or the WNBA. Yeah, obviously. Lol.
Yes it’s too bad that CC has soured on Iowa, but so what? Life goes on. I get how big of a deal she was/is, but lately it’s like some fans think that if she isn’t tweeting and posting about Iowa the university will cease to exist
I'm a fan of CC and of women's basketball. If there's something that doesn't interest me, I don't bother posting about it. You should consider it.
Well, see, CC and I go way back to when she was a young soccer player and I ref’d a number of her games. She was a pretty good player on the pitch back then but a snobby little brat. I carded her a time or two. But it straightened her out. So she should be upset I no longer respect or follow her.
If she did comment she would have received the what for from Connor. That's a fact. How do we know, Connor had no trouble calling a national talk show and asking them to stop talking about Iowa, I guarantee he wouldn't hesitate to get in Caitlins ear. What makes him think he has the right to tell anybody what to do, I don't know. Well, I do know but it is what it is.

First off, she doesn't owe Iowa Mens Basketball anything, so who are we to judge what she does or doesn't say.
Secondly, as of now the McCafferys are basically her in-laws, i.e. family. For any married person out there, you should understand this is just a good business decision on her part. Regarding her outright support of Iowa MBB right now...to quote Brian Ferentz: "What's the upside?"
He is spending his time looking for a new job, presumably.

This is crazy ex stuff. Connor out there slashing tires for his dad after Iowa broke up with him for not playing defense in 15 years. I honestly think he dated Caitlyn as a hedge in case his dad got fired so he could take her away from Iowa fans as revenge.

Correct. For being a big Michigan alum portnoy has always been very complimentary of IC and Iowa. One of the other big 10 schools he likes. He’s a big fan of and friends with Kittle.
guy he’s speaking to who cost him “his relationship” is a fan of Fran. Think has interviewed or met before (a couple of barstool b-ball bloggers guys in IC I think 2 maybe 3 years ago) and has been yapping his mouth since a year ago Iowa fans better be careful what they wish for or grass isn’t always greener after Fran got fired. After the ncaa run portnoy called him out and said he had always liked Fran but Iowa made the right move to one and definitely got the right guy with McCollum and telling the guy he’s eating crow because it did work out for Iowa. And now Connor is acting like a baby as always. No one can’t tell me it’s a coincidence that all of a sudden Caitlin blocks portnoy now and it isn’t influenced by Connor after what this happened.
Another thing I’ll add is look how the Davis family handled his exit. They had a lot more reason to act upset but Dr tom and keno handled with class. Went to Drake and beyond. Both welcome with arms wide open in IC and Dr tom still beloved and rightfully so.
with Fran I think he’s handled well nothing public. Go to Penn and I think lot of Iowa fans like myself cheer for them and glad he made the tourney. No ill will but we reached our ceiling and it was time. Connor thought his actions have been so self serving and counter productive. Like what are you doing sure large Marge is encouraging. But it’s so self centered when your girl friend is a God and most popular figure in Iowa city. I personally think he doesn’t care one bit with his vendetta against Iowa that at the end of the day my one question is what does he hope to get out of this. Like nothing is going to change,
Pops has moved on it’s been a year let it go.
