Sounds like Caleb has been catching TV hoops games the last two nights....
I'd expect his commitment this weekend now. Good news
Early signing period ends 11/20 I think so we will know soon.
His last big update from his interview with Pilgrim from a few days ago made it sound like he wasn't going to decide until Dec. or Jan. Hopefully the big Duke win has expedited that decision.
Calipari didn't know their game with Pacific was on Monday, he thought it was Saturday (go figure). He got confused and since there was no game I wonder if that's why he cancelled. Regardless Cal is so out of touch.
Come on down young man. We could have three southpaws next season. Those types are harder to guard.
I honestly wonder if he was left with long term "COVID fog," he just does not seem mentally sharp any more.
Pope isn't going to let any player hold him hostage. Caleb might want to pick up the pace.

Didn't Matt Jones hint at something being mentally off and then he stopped himself short? Now, to be clear, I don't want anyone to suffer with mental befuddlement or fog or dementia of any kind. I've seen that first hand in my father and I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemies. Ever. But If Cal is declining, folks need to know and he needs to step aside. I hope that's not the case. I really do. That would be sad and awful.
Man I like his cerebral way of looking at this and think it bodes well for us because of Coach Pope and playing in the SEC. Combining his physical abilities with his bb I.Q. makes him have great potential and a perfect fit for UK.
Well it’s being reported that he will not reschedule so looks like Arky is out . I thought he sounded like it was mainly between UK and UNC in his interview anyway. Especially when he said nil wasn’t much of a factor.
That's probably true but that video of Cal talking about having a recruit come in Saturday when he thought they played Pacific (it's Monday) was classic out of touch Cal.

He also said in his interview that he wanted to see how the coaches “coached their players “ and he hadn’t really been able to do that with CMP. Surely he liked what he saw firsthand Tuesday night…….and maybe he got to watch Cal screaming on the sideline last night . lol
Says he’s not. But he loves Hubert Davis and UNC so they were probably our main competition anyway.
Can't blame him. Smart kid. He cares about his future and developing his game. Cal will not put you in a position to best develop your game and in a system that fits.

I just don't see the Davis appeal. I get UNC (it does have history and you play on a team freaking Air Jordan played on) but what's Davis big hook?
Don’t know. Wilson just said that he’s been to UNC on unofficial visits, sat in on their practices , and knows Davis will push him to be the best player he can be .
I was all about Cal and the young guns when he was getting the right ones. After he won his championship, he got soft and recruited soft players. No way I would send my kid to him, he has nothing to offer them anymore. The fishbowl of UK was what prepared the kids best for the NBA..the mental part of the game was the education. His development of players is non-existent..

Let’s see here when we started recruiting him he talked about being a package deal with Lewis. I know all the UNC talk and visits but I’m not worried about that one bit then we get Lewis to commit and sign. He schedules a visit to Arkansas cancels and reschedules for this upcoming weekend the 11/15-11/17. We play and beat #6 Duke on Tuesday 11/12 in front of Wilson and 2 days later on Thursday 11/14 he cancels a visit that’s supposed to start the next day on 11/15 for Arkansas not to ever reschedule…… Yep I do believe he’s ours people……
He said Tuesday he is committing mid December or early January. His camp enjoys the attention they are getting(nothing wrong with that) so I bet this goes on until then. But you have to think he is a cat now for sure.
Yeah I can't stand Cal the coach. I hope Cal the human isn't having any health issues.
Around Covid is when shooting and actual tnsigible basketball skills got heightened in teams systems more. Cal didn’t adjust and just wanted to rely on athleticism. Last year he tried to change but he didn’t play his best players together.
