UK offers him a situation where he can be a lottery pick, but also not have the weight of the world on his shoulders.

I agree - I think it's almost certainly UK!
He and Jasper Johnson will be great together as a dynamic freshman duo, and then we can get some elite talent in the portal with the NIL money we are saving by not signing 5 McD's AAs every year!

The kid can be a lottery pick regardless of where he goes. He needs to learn defense against guys his own size. Not saying he can't or can defend a big opponent but he must make this his first priority. NBA is not all offense when it comes to a big man. They must be able to defend. I hope Pope is selling Wilson on the fact he can teach him defense.
