Personally speaking just as a fan, yeah, the bridge is burned. You had a chance to come play for an awesome young coach who is on the way up at the greatest program in college basketball. You chose poorly. Sucks to suck.

If he gets canned there's always an option if he chooses to leave. Not sure I'd be all that interested but perhaps Pope would be.
Id cut his NIL offer a bit and also give him a hard deadline.

I think he cares more about seeing another freshman thrive and climb draft boards than he’s worrying about team success.
But Jackson has had single digits in 5 of his last 6 and 0 today.
Jackson was on an insane heater leading up to Wilson’s decision and I still believe that had a big impact on Caleb, while we have no draft guy and nothing in terms of freshmen.

I’d be surprised if UNC doesn’t give Hubert another year.
Doubt they fire him yet. He's got a championship appearance and a sweet 16 already. The issue is he may miss the ncaa for 2nd time n 4 seasons. I always said the title game run got him to season 5 with grace and I'll stick to that.
I will say if they miss it this year he's probably on a make the ncaa and make an elite 8 or better next season type pressure or he's gone.
I know they fired Matt d after 3 seasons but he was way worse overall.
