He looked explosive on the dunking eh 2nd half. I also think his leadership will help Simpson and Miller ( to a lesser extent) learn how to lock down other teams

He has a chance at the next level, his awareness of what teams want to do, is 2nd to none that I've seen at RU.
Two weeks ago we said the same thing about Spencer. It’s always about matchups. Early for the over the top love.

If caleb can continue his improved shooting he can def be a 3 and D guy. Think Bruce Bowen type

Very happy for him.

Not that it’s a bad thing (just the way it is) but in previous years he was “ behind” geo and Ron now this HIS team (along with Paul and cliff)…. Good for him!!!!

So deserving

As I've been saying since his first game back, he has no health issues - his only issue was knocking a little rust off his game and his last two games have been superb. He played like his hair was on fire to use an overused cliche. Loved it.
Someone said he was wearing a huge knee brace, he certainly wasn’t this afternoon.
That’s a great thing!

Had to bump this, due to Caleb’s colossal contribution.

In only his third game back from a knee injury, all he did was lead the team in minutes (37), points (16), rebounds (10) and steals (2), while playing his usual stellar defense.

Incredible performance in knocking off the #10 team in the nation.

Defense travels and is not about “match ups”. Caleb didn’t even shoot well. He was 4 for 13, but his inefficiency is deceiving. Outside of the times he tries to force penetration (and it’s not really that often when you think about some of our other players), his shot selection demonstrates great court awareness. He always follows his shots crashing the glass which is why he gets a lot of offensive boards off his own misses. And while his “shot”, the mid range, isn’t a high percentage shot, he takes it at times when others are in good position to crash the glass.

I cannot think of any player Caleb reminds me of. He is so unique. Winners come up big when stage is highest. Not surprisingly he was awesome against ND last year and he was equally as awesome against Miami and Indiana

Caleb’s d is contagious, Mag, Simpson flying around pressuring and double teaming like him and he’s mentoring Simpson too. Terrific leader for this team and watching games is seeing how great this D can play.

I didn’t even think about that. Yeah, last week he did have a huge brace on. Ditched it pretty quickly.

It felt like he was saying "we're not losing to Indiana on MY watch", lol
