I'm leaning towards another loss considering how close Minny played the Buckeyes. 3 turnovers doomed the gophers but they put up 400 yards and held Ohio State to just 2.9ypc on 32 attempts.
*But*...you never know. Maybe we'll put together a great 60 minutes of football and the ref's won't try pushing our sh*t in.

Premised on OL ability to keep Martinez protected. Carter Coughlin is monster pass rusher who is headed for the NFL so if he gets loose it could be a different story. Fellow LB Barber is very good also, Huskers need to pass effectively to win.

Also expecting the Huskers to slow the Gopher rush game…. if Minnesota is pounding out 1st downs on the ground (and they are capable) I could see a 27-24 type game that Goldie could win.

NU goes into the half up 17-3 and holds on for the win while giving up 350 yards of total offense in the second half. NU has over 100 yards in penalties again.

30-27 Huskers. Minnesota has the ball with 1:30 left and is driving for the game winning score and Lamar Jackson picks off the UM QB to seal the victory.

One team playing for a bowl game. One team playing for...what is it exactly?

I'm off the bandwagon since Troy, and I lost my *** first 2 games to prove it. It is illogical to bet with my heart on this one, since predictions are essentially bets on the game, and we're favored to win it.

I have no idea why anyone would make a Nebraska prediction, but I hope Frost has turned the corner. That Northwestern loss was bad.

So hopefully, the team proves me wrong. Until then, color me skeptical.

Honest question, how does anyone figure we could beat them by a larger margin than Ohio State did?

Not trying to be a pessimist but I really don’t think Minnesota is worse than Northwestern.

The way this season has gone, I just can't see predicting a Nebraska win.

Huskers get the monkey off their back. Minnesota loses their oars and can't row the boat. Offense has huge day and NU wins 42-17.

Despite rational skepticism, I’m sticking with “a desire to excel and no fear of failure.”
Nebraska 56 Minnesota 6

Bold prediction: see above, plus Mike Williams scores 2 TDs, plus INT returned for TD by Deontai Williams or Cam Taylor.

I want to pick Neb but just don’t feel it for this game. Minn 33-19 in a weird scoring game.

Minnesota isn’t good. If you’re going by scores, then Maryland and Iowa are better than Ohio State. I think the outcome of that game had more to do with OSU than Minnesota. The Buckeyes had issues with Indiana simply because they couldn’t turn drives into TD’s. A lot of settling for FGs.

I’m putting Nebraska in my parlay this week at -4. Minnesota won’t be keeping with with Nebraska’s scoring.
