on the 96 yard td to nixon, i thought cam taylor no.5 i believe, had a very good chance to make the tackle,he seems to go for the ball instead and even then he should of brought him down.
Go watch the play again. Yes Cam could have been better but Dismuke went all in when he thought it was a run.
If he didn't stop he could have had a sack for a safety. That would have been a pretty big play.yeah, i wondered if that was a blitz, or more likely, he came in on run support and figured he had no chance to get back there on the pass, so he just kept coming.

Earlier in the game, Dismuke gave them a first down by trying to pull the ball out instead of tackling the guy.Go watch the play again. Yes Cam could have been better but Dismuke went all in when he thought it was a run.
You see a fair bit of this on tackling in the secondary. There are times I see guys punching at the ball and I'm like, "Uh, maybe someone oughta tackle the guy?" They teach second guy to the ball to be stripping, punching. But what happens when everyone thinks they're the second guy?Earlier in the game, Dismuke gave them a first down by trying to pull the ball out instead of tackling the guy.
It was the latter. He did the right thing at that point going after the qb. He was already beat badly and there was no way he was going to be able to get back to affect that play.yeah, i wondered if that was a blitz, or more likely, he came in on run support and figured he had no chance to get back there on the pass, so he just kept coming.
