ESL will not complain. This is a bad situation however it is what it is. They will line up and play whatever team shows up. The kids have a complete understanding that life isn't always fair so just deal with it.

Depends on how many ineligible players they have on this years team. Maybe a low profile is the safer route.

I am sure many of these kids were on the team last year that missed the playoffs due to a teachers strike. That was unfair, they did not play football due to politics - not their play on the field. Maybe that gives them a little more insight into this mess but it is still not right. Back to back years that ESL players are caught up in real world politics. That is tough.

I agree but the kids are taught that life isn't always fair. At this point they are happy to be in this position as it is very tough to make it to the finals regardless of class. This is a bad situation however things could be a lot worse. Having to potentially prepare for a team in 2 days for the state championship is better than not playing at all. Bot teams have legitimate arguments at this point.

I'll tell you one thing, if it gets legal for ESL, St. Clair County judges will be swift to render their favor for ESL.

There are skeletons in a lot of closets, I'm sure.
Doesn't really seem fair to drag past history into this situation.
Perhaps we will be lucky enough that there will be a coach/parent illegally sitting in the stands filming their practices that will have additional evidence regarding your statement.
