Can Herbstreit cool it with his dog?

It's kind of bizarre. The man can't be without his dog. Somehow its being normalized as acceptable behavior. He's a grown man who can't even go to work without his dog. The was a clip a couple weeks of him "putting his dog to bed" (which is as bizarre as it sounds) b/c he had to call a game. I'm a pretty doting father to my kids, but he was putting more into his dog's bedtime than I do my human children who have souls. I've known dog people who were over the top in their love for their dog, but they could at least live functional lives apart from their dog. It's weird.

Agree. I think I read somewhere the last one died so this is the new golden retriever. Like UGA XV or whichever number they're on now

Herbstreit was known to bang coeds on his campus visits for Gameday. I have that on first hand authority. Sadly, these sk-anks would seek him out, but it happened quite frequently.

Do like everyone else and stop watching that mess.
I haven't really watched it in years, in part b/c I hardly have time to sit down and watch games so there is even less time to sit down and watch people talk about games. But it's also just not anywhere near as good as it used to be. I liked David Pollack on there, but they fired him and then majorly downgraded with McAfee. I put it on the tv a couple times this year just to have it on in the background while I was doing other things.

Agree...it's really bizarre. I saw a clip at some point this season that had Herbstreit throwing a ball outside his room in a hotel hall. The guy must be one of the most arrogant, entitled people out there.

NO! We LOVE Peter! We have a golden retriever too and we love it. Sulley loves seeing Peter on TV and when he’s on gameday our Sulley goes crazy happy!

I don’t understand why. I set my alarm on Saturday mornings, we rush downstairs, put gameday on, make coffee, have a bowl of cereal, and watch from 9-noon. pat’s kicking contest is the BEST part!
