1. The ACC loves basketball.
2. Nearly every venue in the ACC sells out every game.
3. The ACC schools do not need to do color outs or flying trapeeze night or free seat cushion night or two free hot dogs and a coke a cola night or any other crap that nearly every school in the SEC does to beg their "fans" come to Kentucky game. If UK had done the right thing in 1979 and moved to the ACC, league play would be great and exciting and fun for us home and away every night and we would maybe only a divisional playoff game for some teams instead of everybody's Super Bowl or game of the century.
4. Did NC State love beating Duke you bet! Do they love beating every ACC opponent you bet...Tonight is the mother of all games for NC State. This not Duke, not Syracuse, not Virginia, not Louisville, etc etc etc is THE GAME. NC State is the Land-Grant University of the state of North Carolina. It is as many say, "The people's choice. The people's school." While the school in Chapel Hill looks their nose down at everybody, no one is more demeaned or belittled by those people than NC State.
5. NC State will be ready to play. Will they win? I sure as hell hope so. They have been soldiers to keep hope alive that something, something, something will be done to the people of Chapel Hill who have carried out the greatest scandal in the history of college of athletics, yet the NCAA still has not taken any action. The only reason that it has not been totally barried and there is still hope is because of NC State. God Bless the Wolfpack. This is the one game they want.
