I’m not hearing any chatter about standout teams in the FVC this season. I give CG 6-3, PR 7-2 with no deep runs in the playoffs. Aside from the FVC, best player in the area will be Finn Schirmer from Marengo.

I like PR alot...they had a few very close losses last year and bring back a lot from last year

I was totally off base on CG last year so you could be right. It just seems that talk is down but it’s early. PR does have another Evans kid to keep an eye on.

I spoke with a PR football dad at a random encounter getting fuel. They have a very positive outlook on the upcoming season.

3 losses last year, all close. Returning most starters on both sides of the ball. Don’t be surprised at a deep run in the playoffs.

That’s a high quality group at PR. Coaches against that group when they were 7th and 8th graders. FVC is one of the better conferences in the state and PR should be right at the top. I would say yes they are a legit 6a contender.
