It is too soon to talk about the matchup this Friday? I can't wait any longer. What do you think?

Someone said in another thread they kinda like the fact that we lost to them in the regular season, and I agree. We had no Zion, they had no Robinson, their senior point guard. We lost in a relatively tight game in Blacksburg where were have seemed to really struggle as of late. Blackshear had a big double double.

I think our Zion trumps their Robinson. I think we can dominate inside, especially if Bolden and Jack White are healthy. The recent 40%+ three point shooting has been a nice bonus for us. So long as someone doesn't go all Aubrey Dawkins on us and provided we win the rebounding battle I like us by 10.

Let's go Duke! Is it Friday yet???

We have to win this game....I despise this team and their fans with a passion

They are a good team though especially with Robinson back but I just don't see anyone stopping Zion...I may be wrong though

And they are already talking about how the refs will help duke beat them...so pathetic...they must have missed out game Sunday...total idiots I tell you

That last game two different times Buzz couldn’t keep from talking about calls the refs didn’t make in previous games. He probably had a heart attack watching the tape of the UCF game.

I don't think anybody has an easy game the rest of the way. Maybe UVA's next one? I am really confident in our next one, but after that, I'll be tight every game

It is imperative Duke plays outstanding perimeter defense against the Hokies and that the Blue Devils hold the Hokies to one shot on their possessions. Last time, these two teams played, the Hokies kept exploiting the mismatch of having DeLaurier defending out on the perimeter.

They flat out have no one who can even slow down Zion remotely. Our length and depth defensively is going to wear them down. I think it'll end up being an 8-10 point win. However I could also see us killing them at the outset as well. They're good but they're also like Auburn in the fact that, if the 3 isn't raining like hellfire they're in deep, deep ****.

It would be nice if Cam can stay out of foul trouble. His presence on the perimeter will keep defenders at bay opening up for some easier looks inside! Hope he’s on point like last game

Well you know they’ll be unconscious against us and go 17-24 from three.

True, I expect one close one after another going forward just hopefully not UCF type of close. Hopefully the events of Sunday, just getting Bolden back and having a break until Friday will allow the team to have a "reset" if you will and come out fresh and ready on Friday. I still don't think people are seeing Duke's A game due to all the injury issues and rotation adjustments K has had to make as a result.

Don't think Zion would play if he were arrested. May be wrong though. Allen played after multiple assaults, but he was never arrested for them amirite?

Duke tends to do well against ACC foes in the tourney, I'd be more worried about the next matchup than this one.

VT fans saying "it's no big deal, he should be allowed to play"....maybe so but they only say this because of their best season EVER

if it were Zion or RJ would they think it was no big deal and they should play? I highly doubt they would...total hypocrites period....screw them

pretty easy matchup to talk about. VT jacks up 3's like theyre the Warriors, if theyre falling itll be a tight game, if theyre cold you guys should run them out of the gym. LSU against Duke should be a slugfest though - i think LSU handles Sparty

I read an article about this earlier and it said he was arrested the Thursday before the NCAAT started and he played in their first 2 games abc he’ll play Friday night

Article said he was in San Jose for first 2 rounds when the search warrant was executed....supposedly the player suspended all year is his roommate and was there when it went down

I think Duke can and will beat any team in the sweet 16 but each and every team we play going forward is capable of beating us. Every team knows its lose and go home, end of the season.

I just want to see us come out with some fire and punch them in the face. Get control and hold on. The chances it will be a blowout are low, but we can dictate the pace and control it throughout. It starts on defense.

It’s all about how we come out and what our mentality is. We cannot let teams get confidence and hot. Although in the sweet 16 and beyond everybody we go against will have plenty of confidence. It will be a pro vt arena fri night. Ready to jump all over Duke. We need to come out absolutely swinging. I’m looking for knock out blows from the very tip!!!! I think x and o’s Are over stated with this group.

On the national board, they're saying that his arrest was prior to the tournament. He's played each game, no reason to think that he wouldn't play in this one.
