BS. He wanted to make sure they had time to warn their Syrian buddies to get out of the way. Why do you think the Pakistanis were so pissed that Obama didn't tell them we were coming for bin Laden? We didn't want them warning him. As for the supposed effectiveness of the strike, the Syrian air force was launching sorties from that base less than 12 hours later.
Goodness gracious where do you come up with this stuff? It has no basis in reality whatsoever.
You guys bitched about Obama's use of drones, and we used a lot of them with a lot of strikes ... I'm sure the targets didn't know they were coming.
Trump has had 3 significant actions ... one was a poorly planned hasty mission that killed Americans including a Seal and got us no information whatsoever.
Another one was a strike in Syria in which he warned them it was coming and did minimal damage ... no effect.
The last was the MOAB ... which was effective, but a drop in the bucket compared to what's been done.
Most of the time I can at least see where people are coming from, but things like this that have no basis in reality are another story. I can't even imagine how you could begin to think that this is a rational thought.
As to the first part, you're full of ****. We share the goddamn airspace as part of a joint initiative to ensure we don't actually shoot the other one and start WW4.

Yea, I mean, what would I know about it? I've only had people on the ground flying missions since we "didn't have boots on the ground" there. I'm sure you know way better than I do about the joint airspace environment and ROEs over there. The reality is, every strike, Russian and US is coordinated through both countries to ensure we don't accidentally hit the other.

Trump's about to propose a billion dollars in public/private spending to improve our infrastructure (much to my dismay as a Conservative) but I thought that kind of massive Government spending was something you Leftists had orgasms over?
