Sebastian Aho, Seth Jarvis and Andrei Svechnikov no where to be found. Man up. Disgraceful from those 3
Add in Chatfield who was directly responsible for giving up a goal after a weak puck clearing attempt.
And that was right after he/Chatfield got out of the penalty box, IIRC. He and Slavin both had sub-par nights (similar to game 1 vs Montreal).
And as Manitow posted above, the Aho line was absolutely terrible. Like bad enough to where I hope RBA makes some line changes. I know we don't want to change anything on the Stankoven and the Staal line but maybe RBA can get creative. Jarvis was particularly horrible last night. He couldn't even control simple passes. Svech does brain dead stuff with the puck but he at least creates chances every now and then.
The Canes best players simply cannot continue to suck if they want to have any chance at all of winning a game much less the trophy.
Canes first line looks bad again early on. Looks better from the second-fourth, however.
I'm not going to blame that one on Freddie. You can thank the pathetic defense for that and main reason they are not going to win the cup. You can't put your goalie in that position. The Canes best players need to get their heads out of their asses.

I don't disagree with you at all. You have to make that play no matter how hard it is.
I would not be surprised if it comes out, after the fact, that a couple of them are dealing with significant injuries.
Just ain't happening. I would replace Freddie at this point just to change things up even if it's not totally his fault although he should have stopped the last goal. Rod won't do it, however.
This game is not even close to being competitive. So far anyway. Total dominance by Vegas. Disappointing to say the least.
