pretty much everyone is pissed off and wants a change, but is this necessary? Maybe I am old and don’t get the humor, but this is classic piling on bully type of behavior. You are better than this BS.
If you want things to change, sometimes you have to turn up the heat.
Maybe you're right and it's not fair this early in the season. I guess that depends on whether or not you think it's still possible to turn things around.
Well, I have been consistent in my position that we should make a change. After Nebby, the sooner the better.
My beef is it is lowbrow move to put a silly picture where the the subject of everyone’s ridicule has a bewildered look on his face and asking the masses to put down their torches and pitchforks and caption it. Not necessary and not even humorous.
I have met CMT, he is a fine fellow, but iMO he didn’t need to resort to this type of ridicule. Maybe some find it funny, but I would rather stick to bitching about the scheme or whatever it is out there. Now get off my lawn!
JON is probably getting paid close to a million for the worst collegiate defense I’ve ever seen. This is after 14 years of Hankwitz.

This isn’t piling on or bullying behavior. It resorts to accountability. There is not one job that you can have where such an abysmal performance doesn’t result in some type of corrective measure.

In full transparency, I was going to post a photo of Fitz looking befuddled on the sideline versus Nebraska. But I like and respect him too much so I reconsidered.
Then I saw the photo of JON looking like a deer in the headlights before the season… and it was just too good to pass up. If that makes me immature, then so be it. Fans on other teams’ message boards would not be nearly as kind, measured, or patient as we all have been.
Seriously, starting your time as a new DC with a 75-yard touchdown is just about the worst possible thing that can happen.

However, this board is now unreadable. Have you notified that some of the more frequent posters are absent from these run on threads of fire O’Neil. They are not kool aid drinkers that are support keeping JON and they have said to make a change on multiple occasions. Just not like 100 times a week that some feel obligated to make.
I know don’t read it then. That’s what I plan to do, there really isn’t much more to say until a move happens.
There’s been a concerted effort to keep the most dedicated readers and posters on the paid board, which is why the content on the free board is so thin.
There are some great posters over here. @zeek55 immediately comes to mind as someone whose thoughts I enjoy reading, and there are others.

If Fitz replaces him after one season, perhaps the new DC will complement our staff.
Imo a wildcat fan doesnt need JON around. Now, I almost feel sorry for him being the laughingstock and lou allowing this post to laugh at JON. But unlike players, who are sacred and amateurs, coaches are professional and responsible and fair game if they dont have their S together. I applaud LouV for allowing this thread.

Opponents are laughing at us, but I'm not laughing at JON. I'm wildly disappointed and aghast that he is our DC. Should never have happened. This isn't funny. It's a travesty.
