Because Loyola is head and shoulders above the rest. Rice and Carmel are great teams. Loyola is bigger and better than the rest. Basically flawless. A lot of people say that HF is the team to beat...but I would have to say Loyola is.

We'll see in two weeks if MC is up for Loyola, as opposed to Rice and Rita. They handed Rita their rears after a certain point in that game. Rita is just that down this year.

Word is there was a handshake. Loyola is a pretty solid team - their OL is tight - they can be beat but MC will need Thompson to step it up. Was a key win for Rice especially after shaky games vs Larry and Francis (who had their own shoot out tonite). Rice did what they had to do - go to Smalling.

I met some MC faithful before the kickoff on the visitor side. Being a Rice grad, I never sat on that side obviously but now I know how bad those seats are. Has to be the worst visitor stands I've ever seen. Hope the Sisters of Mercy finally gives the green light to purchase the land needed to upgrade our facility.

Well they put the soph at RT and put Reyes back to guard like last year.they are just gonna have to put Houston both ways in my opinion like Battle in 08. Also need to get Alek thomas more touches.if they give loyola a game who knows in 7A.
