Cards are NCAA host!

Just announced, and certainly no surprise: the Cards are one of the 16 hosts for the NCAA tournament. Will know tomorrow when we host (Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday).

We play 14 seed Vermont on Saturday, time TBD

3 seed Cards get 14 seed Vermont on Saturday at the Yum Center.

Texas and Michigan are our 1 and 2 seeds. Very good teams, but probably the best region the Cards could get for a shot at another final 4.

Our first game will be Vermont 27-7. Texas is the number 1 seed and the number 2 seed is Michigan. The number 5 seed in our bracket is sUcK.

I was actually hoping we would be in the same region with South Carolina. That close loss to them at home would have been a fun rematch to watch. I am glad we aren’t in with UConn or UCLA.

I liked Charlie Crème’s comment once they announced our region. He said he thought Louisville was a real threat in this region with their talent, their depth and their balance.

They’re talking about UConn how they are the number 1 seed and they earned it UConn’s average margin of victory this year was 38 points. We played them at their place and lost by 13.
