They bullied undersized guards last time they met the Cards. FSU comes in still solid and a tough matchup.

Cards are going to need top performance to get a win tonight.

Thoughts?

Well Vegas is only 2 1/2 and over/under at 140. Showing respect of Cards. I don’t believe they will be intimidating us tonight. Cards win in a thriller.

Enoch MUST show up tonight IMO. He has the strength and size to combat FSU. Nwora will need to have a similar game he had against them the first time around, and DJ has to play better than he did the first time around.

Still, the key tonight is Enoch IMO. He has to do better than 10 points, 4 rebounds. He did have a couple of blocks, a steal and 1 assist too in the first meeting.

Other factors that stood out.

FSU shot about 48 percent from 3.

Cards had 16 turnovers.

UofL needs to take better care of the ball and have everyone contribute in meaningful ways.

This is an elite 8 or Final Four type of game. It will show us what level the Cards are playing at right now. I think having DJ starting at point this time will make it a much closer game. We have to get the ball to the post and let Williams and Enoch go to work. There will not be many open three pointers.

This will really show if this group is mentally tough.

7 of our 8 guys are upperclassmen, 3 are 5th year seniors. They shouldn’t have to have anymore wake up calls. This is for a chance at an ACC title and a high NCAA seed close to home. It’s for pride against a team that beat you down on your home floor.

This isn’t a “good lesson for March” game. These guys lost in OT here last year. They’ve been through it all these last 3-5 years. Now is the time to fight and prove the preseason odds and ranking rights.

March is next week. In one month, they’ll be deciding who is going to the Final 4. Now is the time to either make that run for #4.

This is a NCAAT game. It's a game of seeding and showing what you're made of at tournament time. We flat got bullied by them last game. That can't happen again.

DJ needs to play the way he's been playing and the front line needs to up their toughness.

Cards are going to have to hit 3s I think - to me that's your key. There aren't going to be easy dunks/layups like what they got @ Duke. Of course they got to put up more defense than they did last time also.
