I'm mildly concerned about this game, even with it being in Cameron.
Louisville, like Clemson, is a very athletic team. Hurt, Alex, and Baker (if he plays) will likely be at an athletic disadvantage with whoever they are matching up against. Outside of the McMahon kid, I guess Alex can matchup with him.
It's been said before, but Wendell would be PERFECT to throw at Nwora, not sure who is gonna check him now. I'd like to see Jack get a shot at him, but Jack does struggle out on the perimeter.

We take care of the ball and make our free-throws we should win. If we don't, it will be very close I think.
Just about every game, we need something from Javin. The Clemson game it was so noticeable, but in these big intense games, Vernon can't go more than 25 minutes, he just can't. It very well could be the reason we get bounced in the tournament (or because of FT's) but Javin needs to start playing every game like a confident senior.

They don’t have a very good backcourt. Defensively we will overwhelm them early. It’s just what will we get from the guys off the bench. I think we will be fine. Vernon has to stay out of foul trouble though. We seem to play up to our competition this year though

Like always we need to be ready to play. UL owes us one like that come from behind won at UL last year. That was humiliating to say the least. We have something to prove ourselves after being embarrassed at Clemson. OFC

Jav needs to play every game like it’s against Michigan state.

I would like him to listen to the interview with Zoubek in 2010, after they beat Maryland. The reporter asked him what had gotten into him. His reply is one of the best ever, and goes something like this: “I’m not ready for this season to be over.”

Great post Mac....Yes I agree, hopefully Jav finds his groove here like Zoobs, in his senior year....OFC
