Cards now favored at -4.5.

Fully expecting this one to be a tough game for the Cards. NC State may be without one of their key players (Markell Johnson) tonight... Thinking that Keatts is going to apply pressure defense and get into the Cards probably more than any team has this year defensively.

How do the Cards handle the defensive pressure and trapping?

NC State is averaging 87 PPG and shooting 38% from the 3 line.

That's one of the main things I'm worried about this game - the pressure defense snd trapping that Keatts will use. Cards need to be prepared for it after struggling with other team's 3/4 court pressure.

The Cards haven't always handled full court pressure very well this season, and it could be very disruptive if they can't handle it well tonight.

I look for coach Mack to try and dictate the tempo in his approach to this game. He won't want his team to get caught speeding up which is exactly what Keats will want. If Keats can force the tempo to be fast then it benefits his team more IMO. The Cards will need to play solid half court defense and rebound well while controlling tempo to win.

need to make them pay for their pressure and overplaying the passing lanes. May lead to some easy buckets if we move the ball
I agree but they also need to control the tempo. We seem to get in trouble when we go too fast. A nice pace with some good passing is the way to go. Good passing should lead to good shots and this team is a good shooting team IMO when that happens.
