We won the 1st we looked good against a good Pitt team.

We just won the 2nd set Claire Chaussee has 22 kills on 18 swings.

Pitt wins the 3rd set and they did it in demanding fashion. We need to gain momentum on the 4th set.

We win the 4th set and the match and it was a tough win. We had a good contingent of fans I was impressed.

Something I have noticed and I wonder why? All our attacks come from the left and right side of the net. In the 4th set Anna DeBeers attacked from the middle and Pitt had no defense for it. I wonder why we don’t attack from the middle more often?

Pitt is very, very good; but right now UL is the best women’s volleyball team in America. If there was anyone doubting that reality, they just needed to witness the 4th set.

Pitt’s 5’8” hitter (can’t recall her name) may be one of the very best hitters in the country- just outright amazing. UofL shut her down in the 4th set.
