Believe it's more can ND be the spoiler. Looking for this game to be clock control and who's line pushes the hardest. JK has played the toughest schedule of any one in conference and ND boys are beginning to see their potential. Don't see a runaway but hopefully some good trench Football.

agree totally! with jeff friday as my buddy jh60... great carolina conference teams.... been a exiting season. majority of down east games have been moved too thursday night due too the weather. good luck too all cc teams!!

Game of the week on paper has to be ND/JK

The Rebels offense is clicking and I feel the defense is finding itself.

Kenan has athletes and speed, but the Rebels will be prepared

Battle of the Wood's: Rosewood will have to come out ready to take on a Lakewood team that is looking for a rebound.

The last CC game this week features Princeton playing a warm up for the last half of the season

Princeton 42 Hobbton 6

Spring Creek will be doing some extra laundry during this weeks bye because they may have pulled some fans out of the stands last week to play in the second half.

I feel the JK ND game will be one that comes down to one or two drives making a difference in the outcome. ND has a excellent opportunity to win this one but I like my Tigers chances going in to this one. The win against Rosewood is all those boys needed to believe again.

North Duplin took opening kickoff to drive the length of the field to score in the first minute of the 2nd quarter. The drive lasted over a full quarter! The Tigers had 2 long runs and had some success with a 7 man rush but the Rebels controlled the game to win 21-12.

what a heck of game and a heartbreaking loss for my rhs eagles!! in ot. rosewood scored 1st kicked extra point... lakewood scored a the snap was fumbled...qb archer who the holder for the kick...grabbed the ball ...ran right with eagle defenders all over him and threw a hail mary that was caught. wow!.. this a defensive game as sore was 7-7 at the half and a great ballgame!!! i called the game and ive lost my thought on the final score...37-28??...got jh60 and them nd rebels next week at rhs.... should be a great ballgame. again..both rosewood-lakewood teams gave everything on the field tonight and im proud of all these young men!!

Year after I leave and all of a sudden that league gets unpredictable. I'd say I hate I'm not around to see it, except that I live a mile and a half away from the state's third-ranked 1A team now...

Missed opportunities and the growing pains continue for the Tigers. Great game by North Duplin, they were prepared and executed. Still a lot of football left

North Duplin got closer to 28 Rebels are now one of the midseason favs to win conference the Princeton/ND game all of a sudden takes on a lot in a couple weeks, hopefully the Rebels don't over look Rosewood as the Eagles can get you.

I LOVE THIS CONFERENCE

i agree jeff friday....final score was lakewood 29-my rosewood -28...and excuse my spelling on my last post as i just came home from the pressbox. as now north duplin is on a roll... princeton is looking good as spring creek... lakewood is playing good and do not!! count out my rosewood eagles as they are looking better and better!! the spoiler is james kenan as they are not done. very exciting year in the carolina conference!!!

Princeton and ND appear to be in strongest position at this point but things are far from being decided. Lakewood, Spring Creek and even JK and Rosewood with 2 losses are in the hunt and every game has big implication. Rswdstud, we have a great contest setup for us but JK at Lakewood and SC at Princeton make this a big Friday Night for CC. Best $6 entertainment in Wayne, Duplin or Sampson Counties.

Whats wild is north duplin could be in the 1a midwest pod for playoffs, since small 1a teams are so bad this year. Thats going to mean some long bus rides for the mountain teams.

jh60...may not have a scoreboard fri night as the wind folded our rhs scoreboard in half...checked the lights and they work. severe flooding around and the river will crest higher than floyd in the late 1990s... ive got trees down all over my place. schools are closed here mon-tues.

wayne county schools closed all this week as athletic activities. rosewood vs north duplin game will be played at a later date. much flooding in this area as roads washed out(cave ins)...too me...this is worse than hurricane floyd in the late 1990s.

jh60, all teams in wayne county can practice again mon. school will resume next thursday. rosewood is too play at spring creek next friday night...dont know when the eagle-rebel game will be played. rest of rhs home games will have no scoreboard as it got destroyed.. planning on keeping time on the scorebox in the pressbox if thats allowed.

The major Neuse flooding and road washouts set HS football in prospective and hope all see better days ahead. Clear Oct. Friday Night without a HS game just ain't right. Thanks rswdstu for update,

Hopefully we get back to some normalcy this week, praying for everyone, lots of flooding in our area not as much wind damage.

got a update today from the rhs coach.....nchssa has pushed games back a week. rosewood will host north duplin nov 10th @ 7.00pm. im glad they did this....give all a chance too re-group and for 3hours watch and enjoy some good football and forget the pains of all the water. my eagles travel too a very dangerous spring creek high @7.00pm. this coming friday.

ND/Princeton will be played Thursdays 7:00 at North Duplin. This week's games are the best matchup according to what has happened so far in conference. Would not surprised if all games stayed within 10 points. All should be great games. Hope to catch 2 of them.

Missed where JK is playing Hobbton and not Lakewood. The other 2 games will be who wants it most.

The JK/Lakewood JVs will play Thursday night @JK and JK/Hobbton varsity will play @JK Friday night. The JK/Lakewood varsity game has been moved to Nov 10th at Lakewood.....

Princeton @ North Duplin is a Varsity game. Should be some great Thursday Night football. Note that road NC 403 is washed out on Faison side of school and all
Fans will need to go thru down town Calypso.

Princeton plays at North Duplin 7:00 tonight Thursday 10/20/16. The Duplin Times And New Argus yesterday editions were not correct. After date change to work in Rosewood next Tuesday the Thursday schedule with Princeton was not changed back when nchsaa extended the regular season.

hats off too the spring creek gators as they win 21-20 over rosewood. well played game by both teams. gators jumped out too a 21-7 score in the 2nd half....eagles fought back and went for 2 too win and were denied. rosewood has open date next friday...host princeton nov 4th... north duplin nov 10th(thursday night.)
