I think it’s just a matter of time before Lau is starting. Hartman had a nice game off the bench. Hopefully they were being cautious with Shaw as we are going to need her leadership throughout the season. Having Oregon so early on the road is a very tough matchup for a fairly young team.Lau is going to be great, but Rainey, who is not great, started. Other areas of concern were as follows: giving up 72 points to Wisconsin Parkside; Sydney Wood not playing at all; Courtney Shaw continuing to miss free throws; and the relative absence of team defense since the Backcourt Burglar has departed and Sydney Wood didn't play. These things need to improve significantly, or Oregon is going to be a touch matchup next time out.
