Carr is our determining factor

I think the difference in us being a decent team vs a top 10 team is simply Andrew Carr.

He has to come to play. Oweh, Amari & Butler have been pretty consistent. They have flaws, but also good points. They have showed us what we can expect from them.

We need Carr vs Duke, not Carr vs Clemson.

He played scared tonight, very concerning in a 9k arena. My hs gym almost just a little less than this so what’s he going to at Tenn or bam when the crowd gets going???

I was supposed we didn’t see Chandler tonight with Kerr being cold and Brea being near unplayable due to defensive pressure and his lack of handles combined with getting killed on defense. Or maybe a game where Perry got a few of the Butler minutes when Butler was foul riddled

There was a bounce pass down low where his man scored and Carr had his back to him.

Then the balding guy drove straight into his chest for a contested layup. Carr didn’t create much of a challenge.

Then there was a spin move in the lane where Carr lost the ball.

Those felt pivotal. I’ll have to watch it again, but I think those all took place in the last 7 mins of the game or so.

I was hard on Carr tonight but it’s because I know he’s a good player & an important piece.

Carr's play tonight might be tied to how defenses have chosen to guard our 5's on offense.

Carr has looked his best offensively, like against Duke, when he plays the 5 with another shooter at the 4.

The 4 & 5 spot will be UK’s Achilles Heel all year. They have been somewhat exposed when Williams is at the 5 and Carr doesn’t rebound like a 6’11” guy. Carr appears to be too soft.

I agree.
