Not good, especially given the stretch that we have coming up with three on the road versus Vanderbilt, Tennessee, and Ole Miss. The only home game in that stretch is going to be against a fired up Arkansas team. Will be blessed to go 2-2 during this upcoming stretch. 1-3 won't surprise me.

I keep telling folks that they shouldn't be surprised if we go 8-10 in the SEC. Injuries, extreme strength of schedule. That's still probably good for four or five seed.

Wrong
Way wrong
More like 12-6
As it has always been for me 11-7 or 10-8

Still four wins you should get on this schedule and no way we go winless in the big games. Can’t go 8-10 in the SEC, not good

There's no way we reach 12 wins. That means we would only lose four more times.

We still have road games against Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Alabama, and Missouri. We will lose at least three of those.

Then we face Auburn at home as well as Tennessee. At best, we lose one of those.

We split our road games against Texas and Oklahoma.

9-9 is a very likely scenario.

From a medical point of view , if it was a muscular issue the week off should not have resulted in his being out today. Instead I suspect that an MRI has shown some degree of disc herniation which can respond to steroid injection but it takes some time for swelling to resolve. However if the herniation is bad enough then it could be a surgical issue and that would require prolonged rehabilitation and his college career would be over.

I’ve told people that from the get go. The entire barber shop thought I was nuts for even suggesting the possibility a couple weeks ago.

If Pope finishes the SEC with a winning record, he’s 100% coach of the year after inheriting absolutely nothing.

Let’s play the games first. Have some faith in our boys!

Hopefully, that is one of the reasons they decided not to play him in this game

I have faith the refs will triple screw us on the road and without one of our best players, we wont be able to overcome a ref screw job.
