Not good, especially given the stretch that we have coming up with three on the road versus Vanderbilt, Tennessee, and Ole Miss. The only home game in that stretch is going to be against a fired up Arkansas team. Will be blessed to go 2-2 during this upcoming stretch. 1-3 won't surprise me.

I keep telling folks that they shouldn't be surprised if we go 8-10 in the SEC. Injuries, extreme strength of schedule. That's still probably good for four or five seed.
Honestly, this may not be the worst time to have Carr out. Vanderbilt has undersized frontcourt. Gotta rebound tho. Those Commodore bigs are not afraid to fight for boards.

Im as homer as they come but the SEC schedule is so insane that even really good teams could get swallowed up by an injury or some bad luck.

Then we face Auburn at home as well as Tennessee. At best, we lose one of those.

9-9 is a very likely scenario.
From a medical point of view , if it was a muscular issue the week off should not have resulted in his being out today. Instead I suspect that an MRI has shown some degree of disc herniation which can respond to steroid injection but it takes some time for swelling to resolve. However if the herniation is bad enough then it could be a surgical issue and that would require prolonged rehabilitation and his college career would be over.
If our bigs have trouble in foul, we have no choice and may only make noah to play some 4
