Always liked Cason (other than his miserable quote about what he wanted to accomplish at Kentucky when he first came here that unfortunately came true) and thought he was a bright spot on an otherwise miserable season. The amount of squandered talent under Cal is dizzying
Was obvious to everyone but Cal that Wallace needed to be the lead guard

It was by design. He knew all of them were headed to the NBA. His job was to make sure they didn't get hurt or any weeknesses exposed. He only lasted so long at UK because of the early success. Playing hurt or going all out for 1 year was just not prudent. I'm sure he told many parents this in his own way.
