Which brand you like ? I've worn Rockports for 30 years but getting hard to find styles I like . Any other recommendations for something highly comfortable ? I'm on my feet 8-9 hours a day when I'm at work .

I prefer cowboy boots. I have 12 pairs, most over 20 years old. They never go out of style Boots are the most comfortable and the best to walk around in the sand we have down here.

I like Luchesse and Dan Post brands and Justin for getting out in the woods. Something like this. Just plain and simple. I have this one in black

When I did have to be in the office, and when it was a more formal company, I'd wear Dr. Scholls. But the last two companies I worked for allowed for sneakers, and I'm WFH now.

I, at times, need to crawl around and go on ladders, working in IT.. so there's rarely an expectation to be dressed up.

I have a pair of "dressy" style Sketchers that are the most comfortable shoes that I have. I'm on my feet constantly during the day and need something that feels great yet looks good enough to go with business casual attire. From a distance, they look just like fancier dress shoes, but have the Sketchers interior that feels great on the feet.

Columbia flip-flops for me. When I need to go upscale or it's cold, Keens.
Second the Keen’s. I like the Targhee. I developed plantars fasciitis probably coincidentally while wearing Merrill’s. I wore black Brooks Adrenaline GTS for over a year but got tired of wet cold feet in bad weather. Started wearing my Keen’s and never looked back. On my second pair.

I really like some of the offerings by Skechers. The are very light weight and use memory foam for extra cushion. They have some dressier styles that can be worn with khakis and a button down. Probably not dressy enough for a suit though.

Years ago, due to an accident, they had me buy a custom made shoe and brace. They had me walk on paper that left an imprint of my walk. They made several foot measurements. I didn't like it as it was to cumbersome. I started looking for the best cushioned running shoes I could find. Right now I wear New Balance 1080's. Have heard good things about Hoka, but haven't tried any.

Probably the most comfortable shoe brand. Too bad that comfort lasts about 2 months.

I have to wear sturdy boots for work. I work outside so they have to be waterproof as well. Merrel Moabs for spring, summer, and fall. For winter it's Wolverines.

Vans slip-in sandals and white socks.

Wore them to work for years. Got called out by a principal at Leestown MS one time.

"I've got a sore toe. Was there anything else you needed? No? Okay then."

I have never had a pair wear out quite that fast but I agree that the memory foam loses most of its cushion in less than a 6-12 months. That's why I buy multiple different pairs and rotate them.

Personal favorites are Keen Detroit mids with orange super feet insoles. Sturdy and work with most anything.

-red wing Chelsea boots, made in USA.

-check out SAS. Not my style...but high quality and American made.
I second the SAS. Ugly as can be, but super comfortable and last a long time. I need steel toed boots in my line of work, though. Redwing is what I buy.

I have several pair of different Johnston & Murphy chukka boots that I've acquired over the years. I still have a pair that was styled a little different than the ones today. Comfortable to wear from day one. I also have three pair of Beckett & Simonon chukkas. They are nicer and hand made but you have to break them in.
