They typically win their conference. I think they’re a good team.

I think their pitching has struggled from their stats. So maybe we can win 3!

Back to back 40+ win seasons. Favorite to win the MVC this year. Theyre a good team. Pitching has been a struggle for them this year however.

Gilliam doubles. We now have a RISP. How do we hit?

1-3 with a walk and an RBI. Pretty good but we did leave two.

They've had some solid teams lately. Not sure if this is one of those. They got swept by Ohio last weekend, who is not a good team. They could win the MVC, but that's not an overly competitive conference.

Williams gives up a single in the bottom of the 3rd but nothing else.

Leaving too many runners on and it comes back to bite us. Salukis 2 run HR cuts lead in half.
Also SIU has about 3 infield hits. We are not playing the ball well off their turf.

2-11, two walks, but 3 runs scored with runners in scoring position so far.

4-3 now, an error and we failed to turn a DP back to back really cost UK. We are flirting with blowing this game. Also could really hurt that this is our last shot this year for a weekend sweep.

Sounds like Headrick is convinced that SIU is getting home cooking from the umpire.

Edit: it would have been 3 if we hadn't doubled off one.

I wasn’t able to catch the game tonight but leaving 15 on base is ridiculous. We really lucked out to win like that. Anyone have a total of runners left on base up to this point? It has to be high. We’ve got to improve this or it will be a long SEC season.

The good and the bad is that we seem to do a lot of our damage with 2 outs. Usually you want that, but not at the expense of waiting until you have 2 outs to do it.

10 hits, 10 walks and I think at least 2 HBP’s. Runners left on base and lack of power continue to be concerns. I thought all 3 of our pitchers threw the ball well again. We only walked 1 batter in 10 innings with a really inconsistent strike zone.

Wild game.

Lots of base runners, and lots of LOB.

Pitching continues to be really good. Defense didn’t make some plays for the first time since week 1 tonight.

Wildcats keep winning games, but I would like to see us get a big hit and blow a game open.

Camera work on the video feed is horrid. Must be a college station doing it. Cannot keep up with the ball outside of balls & strikes.
