What a weird inning that was. Mingione should have subbed out Burkes when he got to second. Even if it worked out, it was a poor decision.
Every game we make it down this road it gets easier to believe. Just ended Tennessee's 7 game win streak. We've played the same teams just about. We are lapping the SEC East.
Nearly 7000 in attendance tonight. I wish I could have been there. Another great come from behind victory!
I imagine there will more there tomorrow. When I got our tickets two weeks ago, there were VERY few seats left from UK.
And the Cats were inches from 3 more HRs. Great to take game 1, removes the pressure for the next two. Great job by pitching staff to limit the Vols offense today.
Was at the ballpark. Unreal atmosphere. Not sure if it was as good as last year's regional win over Indiana or the NC state win In the regional at the Cliff, but it was great. Crowd came alive in the 7th and stayed crazy until the end.
Pitching and defense were excellent. Honestly, we were a little lucky to win, but good teams win sometimes when they're not "supposed to".
Feel good about winning at least one more this weekend, but UT is good, so it will take a great effort.

UT had the one long ball a foot over otherwise was held in check
I felt like we were playing better when we were down 3-1.
One? What you mean 1? Kentucky baseball sweeps SEC opponents, that’s just what they do! Revenge on UF for last season hopefully.
I told my wife that if we keep this up for a couple of more years, KPP will have to expand.
