Really shouldn't be hard to keep a few separate forums. I agree, we no longer need recruiting-specific forums for sports. But just do Basketball, Football, and the Paddock.
It's not that I'm against football talk, and actually I often forget that I need to visit that board more to stay in the loop.. but I think merging the two would make it chaotic.
We do both football and basketball on HOB and it hasn't been too bad... but obviously there are more people on Rupp Rafters so I can see it getting a bit chaotic.
I think if anything, it would be annoying for the football folks to have to sift through a lot of basketball-related topics, not even really knowing what is what until you open some of them

I knew those sorry sob’s would eventually do this crap. Whatever, ON3 pretty much killed Rafters anyway. This place isn’t remotely like it was at Rivals.

Just further proof the on3 group has more money than sense. I can guarantee their ad revenue focused on a large, even if free, user base will far exceed the revenue generated by a subscription only model.
Ya ya they might save a few pennies on server costs, but nowadays server costs on something this size is miniscule in the grand scheme of things.
Quite the full circle moment and a personal conquest for jones. Decades ago, he was magloire52 on Kentucky Sports Report (ksr) board and got banned for stealing paid info as his own. He starts his own board calling it Kentucky Sports Radio knowing everyone back then just searched "ksr" to locate the Kentucky Sports Report board. It worked and drove traffic his way along with many other things he did early.
From being banned to absorbing the board who banned him. I don't like Jones but that is a full circle moment for him.
However in the end, as is with most private equity fly by the seat of the pants nonsense, us the consumers are worse off.

Does this mean that Justin Rowland and Matt Jones are going to merge into one person? 
It’s usually around 50 that the women at least start figuring out that they are alone with nothing to look forward to the closer they get to death. Especially not having any children or grandchildren to help them when they get sick.
