Not a fan of the Constitution I take it?

Are we talking about the same Constitution that the losing side said was outdated and absurd? I can provide all kinds of receipts where they hate it but suddenly fall in love with it when they can score some points and shamelessly paint a gang banger that broke into the country and now lays his head down in Maryland (well, not now lolol) as Ward Clever..🤣

My last words in this thread, don't want to ruin it and it will be shown that I was NOT the one who turned it political. Out.

The constitution and its rights apply to the citizens of America, illegals are not citizens of this country and have no rights under it, just like you have no rights in any other country in the world. Go move somewhere, enter illegally and see how it goes.

You're wrong, but it doesn't surprise me so many think that. We were intended to be better than other nations in that regard.

This notion is terrible and incorrect, both ethically and legally. We were and are an immigrant nation. That is not the way the constitution is framed or intended. If this were correct then anyone could murder them with impunity. "Right to life" wouldn't apply.

The wording does not say "Citizens".

There are two Due Process of Law Clauses in the United States Constitution. The first is found in the Fifth Amendment:

No PERSON shall be . . . deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.

The second Due Process of Law Clause is found in Section One of the Fourteenth Amendment:

No State shall make or enforce any law which shall . . . deprive any PERSON of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.

There has to be due process to even correctly determine if people are here legally or not. The word "Citizen" is used in other contexts, so it's not like they didn't know the difference.

All I'm gonna say on it though. No need to derail the thread.
