Very entertaining first half. Cats playing pretty well, Nia forcing some shots otherwise it would be closer. NU trails by 6 at the half.

Unfortunately, Lady Cats went more into a one-on-one and quick-shooting mode in the second half to dig themselves a big hole. Also need to grab more rebounds. Maryland just looks like a better team at the moment. Guess there's a reason they're unbeaten.
No debating that. Love to see them upend UConn in the NCAA's, if it comes to that. Hell of a tall order, though.
There are a handful of teams in women's basketball that are still way ahead of the rest of the pack which usually results in some unseemly routs in the NCAA tourney. Competitive balance is still an issue in the women's game.
Agree. And this season you can count the"handful" with the thumbs on your left hand. CT demolished #2 USC earlier this season, and Geno's ladies are odds on favs again to win it all.
