Moore gave up a lead off triple. Battled back big time K the next 2 hitters then getting a GB to end the inning. Kid is tough.

Moore is just so tough. He is one of my favorite pitchers that we have had here.

I'm having a hard time keeping up with all of the new faces, but a lot of these guys are aggressive at the plate and on the base paths.

Cats started teeing off last inning and now lead 6-0 bottom of 5th.

A little bit of trouble in the bottom half - two men on, and only one out.

Upstate gets a 2 run HR off of Moore, but nothing more. Now top of 7, 8-2 UK.

How about getting plunked in your first college at bat? Then you steal second, think you're in scoring position and the 2nd through 4th batters go down 1, 2, 3.

First 2 on in the ninth. Seems like Nove is done for and then he strikes out the next batter.

FC to put runners at 1st and 3rd. It will be interesting to see if this team has the killer instinct. Seems like Mingione puts someone in and they've been producing so far.

Putting in Freida with two outs and two on. And he promptly plunks his first batter to load the bases.

Pitching hasn’t looked good late in this game.

Three game sweep, only one error committed (by a pitcher) in 3 games, hitting over 305 while only giving up around 230. Not a bad first series. Pitching has an ERA around 3.33. Upstate has an ERA of 6.33

I love this series, b/c we got the sweep over what was a good team last year, presumably it will follow the Ming formula for scheduling and be an RPI booster, and we played well but no so great that we don't have a lot of room for improvement.
