UF pitcher is a stud and is making some of our best hitters look silly, even though Cats have scratched out 5 two-out singles.

Well about 50 pitches for Faedo is the positive, but we're going to have to make some things happen.

Faedo is not giving us anything. No walks, 1 HBP and 9 hits to get the 4 runs. Looks like maybe Hjelle is settling in. And Faedo has a lot of pitches. This game is a roller coaster.

We've added 0.30 to Faedo's ERA with that grand slam. It took 85 innings for other teams to get 3 HR's on him. It took Kentucky 4 to get one.

Then Hjelle hands a pitch right over the plate for Schwarz for a lead-off single. In years past, we'd see a quick slide but I doubt we see that with this team. They seem to have a bit of swagger and confidence.

Is that it for Hjelle? He settled down in the face of a raucous crowd (but I am surprised by the empty seats down the sidelines) and gave a great effort after a rocky start.

Well it is a Thursday night. Tomorrow night and Saturday will be much larger crowds I'd imagine. Especially if we hold on here and tie them in the standings.

Great at bat by Heady. Didn't get down after missing the bunts, earns a walk. The winning attitude goes up and down the line up.
